Island View - Franskraal

Island View is situated in the coastal town of Franskraal and offers quality accommodation ideally suited for a family or group of friends.

This is spacious home is split between a ground floor and first floor, offering a house and an apartment which we rent out as a whole (not split between different groups). The ground floor is referred to as the flat and can be accessed from the outside or from inside the house.

Main House:

The Main House is the top section of the property, although also accessible without steps. On the top floor guests will find a large balcony with a dinning table, treating guests to a stunning sea view with Dyer Island in the distance.

Also, 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6 people on the top floor. The main bedroom has a queen-size, extra-length bed with a full en-suite bathroom. The 2 other bedrooms each have 2 single beds and share the second bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with everything guests will need for self-catering. The living area holds a dining table with seating for 8, comfortable couches in the lounge area and a TV with full DStv in the extra room. There is an open-plan, indoor braai area and a door leading out to a large patio with furniture and partial sea views. Other features include a guest toilet, dishwasher and washing machine.

The Flat:

The lower section / ground floor has 2 bedrooms and can accommodate 6 people. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed with a basin in the room. The large second bedroom comprises a double bed, 2 bunk beds, a cot and a table with 6 chairs. The lounge area has a TV with full DStv and comfortable couches. There is a kitchenette with basic self-catering facilities and a washing machine. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and a separate toilet. An outdoor braai is available with furniture on request. Guests also have use of a lawn in front of the flat.

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood in Franskraal, less than 10minutes drive from main town, Gansbaai.

Guests can swim at Blousloep in Franskraal, we'd advise bringing swimming shoes for walking on the rocky area.

Franskraal is a quiet village, where guests can relax and enjoy a peaceful breakaway. There are numerous activities nearby including shark cage diving, boat trips and is also close to major access ways.
